Taking One Step at a Time

Updated: Mar 21

I'm taking a step back. I usually do things accordingly, laying out all the plans, and every nitty-gritty detail. Every minute and page needs to be counted. But as days turned into months, months into years, and years into a decade, I've forgotten how to do things I usually do. Not just because I ought not to do it, but because I've been out of the business for 4 years, until I got back on my feet in late 2019.

I was just getting started and testing the waters when the pandemic hit. It was a tough spot for me. I ventured into freelancing, getting into the niche business, but I didn't know where to start. Luckily, I found a mentor who would guide me. It was not an easy path, but I was able to join the bandwagon.

However in the process, I've lost my agility to plan. There were some projects in the past that I started but didn't finish. I procrastinated, and the results piled up. This is not me, the REAL me. So starting today, I'll record my days and put my thoughts on what should be done day by day, taking one step at a time.

I'll create a small checklist, and from there, I'll evaluate myself to see if I was able to do it, if I got distracted, or stayed focused. So if you're like me, let's start the journey together—the journey of becoming a better person. I'm almost turning 40, but hey, so what? They say life begins at 40! Right.
