I began my day by tackling all the tasks I had planned. I aimed to achieve everything I wanted throughout the day, but exhaustion overtook me, and I fell asleep before the activity I had scheduled. My mind was willing, but my body couldn't keep up.
I wanted to check off my to-do list, but I reminded myself to take it easy. I'm not a machine or a superhero. I can only do what I'm capable of. We all have just 24 hours in a day, and rest is necessary, even if I wish to complete everything. However, trying to do it all sometimes leads to procrastination and laziness, preventing me from tackling the tasks at hand.
So, I focus on what I can accomplish each day. It's okay if I miss some items on my checklist, as long as they're there, I'll make time for them during the week. This approach will help me feel more accomplished and productive, which is something I aspire to be again. I want to be more productive in both personal and professional aspects. I aim to improve myself and achieve my personal goals without sacrificing my physical and mental well-being. Therefore, I choose to commit to things that align with long-term goals rather than short-term ones.
